Matt and I got to hang out with his sister Tiffany, brother-in-law James and our little niece Berkeley for a little bit last night. We love her. She’s perfect. We love them all! I’m so excited that both our nieces (you may remember Evie from her newborn shoot) will be around this year for the holidays. I can’t wait! Here’s just a few photos from the night.

Oh shoot. That’s not Berkeley! That’s Poka. Tiff and James adopted her when she was a kitty from Matt and I because I’m allergic and didn’t know at the time. We love Poka too. But, I think I love Berkeley just a little more! Okay, a lot more. Stay tuned for another newborn shoot next week!

Hi people! Meet Evie. She’s tiny. She’s precious. She’s my niece! I had the opportunity to take a few photos of her when she was 10 days old. She’s the cutest little baby girl I have ever seen. Not only am I completely in love with her (and Jace, her big brother), but I’m falling more and more in love with newborn photography. This was my second ever newborn shoot. I keep waiting for babies to be born to get practice! I learned so much. Who knew it would be so fun and rewarding?

Baby Gavin Matthew has arrived! My lovely friend Anna and her husband Casey have been waiting with anticipation… as well as all of us who love them. I am proud to announce that the adorable little guy is here! He was born yesterday, April 28th, weighing a mighty 8 pounds and 3 ounces. I was so lucky to get to see the new family tonight at the hospital. I couldn’t help but share a few pictures that I took while I was there. Ah, wasn’t it just yesterday that Anna and I were in high school sharing secrets and giggling over boys… and now she has a little one of her own!
